Lee Bullen says he will have a place in Jos Luhukay’s new management team at Hillsborough … in the short term and hopefully for a longer period.
Talking after the FA Cup tie at Carlisle, caretaker boss Bullen said: “I’ve spoken to Jos and he’s reassured me that I’ll be part of his team, which is fantastic. It’s a new chapter to look forward to.”
He added that he believes it will be a similar situation for the rest of the current coaching team, with Luhukay thought to be initially brnging in just one assistant while he assesses any other possible requirements.
Reflecting on the cup match, Bullen said: “Overall. I’m disappointed that we didn’t get what was maybe deserved.”
He was particularly pleased with the first-half display and added: “We’re in the draw for the next round, that’s the main thing.”
