Kamil Zayatte was added to Wednesday’s injury list after limping out of the draw with Ipswich with a hamstring problem.
Zayatte pulled up shortly before half-time and was immediately replaced by Claude Dielna. Stuart Gray said after the game that Zayatte would have a scan on the injury but that he is a big doubt for Saturday’s trip to Leeds.
Wednesday also wait to see if any of the injured trio of Kieran Lee, Tom Lees or Sam Hutchinson are fit to return for the televised Elland Road clash.
Gray said a draw was probably the right result after the 1-1 draw with Ipswich.
He said: “It was a scrappy game and Ipswich play to their strengths. They can play it across the back and then hit the front three, who are all big lads.
“But credit to our players, they have given everything and I think a draw was about the right result.”
