A trio of Wednesday youngsters were in international action on Tuesday.
Loanee keeper James Beadle captained the England under-20s in their 3-1 Elite League victory over the Czech Republic while fellow goalie Pierce Charles made his debut for the Northern Ireland under-21s in their 2-1 European Championship qualifier success in Serbia.
Completing the group was academy product Joey Phuthi who came on as a sub for Zimbabwe to mark his senior international debut in a 3-1 defeat to Kenya in Malawi.
