The keeper has resumed full training this week after his rib injury and Carlos Carvalhal says he has now fully recovered.
The head coach also confirmed that Glenn Loovens is expected to make the squad of 18 for Pride Park, after suffering a hip injury in August.
Jordan Rhodes could be forced out of the Derby game after being stretchered off with an ankle injury at Bolton. However, his injury is not as serious as first thought and Carvalhal says the striker should be fit for consideration for the home clash with Barnsley at the end of the month.
