Wednesday will be making a return visit to the Algarve as part of their pre-season warm-up programme.
Dave Jones’ squad is due to fly out on July 14 and will be going to the same Portugese base as that used last summer. Matches are planned against Premier League opposition and leading Portugese sides.
One confirmed pre-season friendly will see a Wednesday side travel to play Harrogate Town on Wednesday, July 24.
