Six Wednesday players will be representing their countries during the current international break.
Yan Valery and Bailey Cadamarteri both have their thoughts on playing in next summer’s World Cup while Sean Fusire is the Zimbabwe squad and youngsters Harry Amass, Will Grainger and Logan Stretch have linked up with their age-group teams.
Cadamarteri has been included in the Jamaica squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Trinidad and Tobago and Curaçao.
Jamaica are at the top of their qualification group and sit one point ahead of second-placed Curaçao as they look to book a place in the World Cup finals for the first time since 1998.
Cadamarteri has started three of Jamaica’s opening four qualifiers and netted in their 2-0 home win over Trinidad and Tobago in September.
They resume their qualifiers with the return game in Trinidad and Tobago early on Friday morning (kick off 00.00 GMT) and are then at home to Curacao on November 19 (1am GMT).
While Cadamarteri and Jamaica continue their battle to make next summer’s finals, Yan Valery and his Tunisia team-mates have already won their World Cup finals place.
They now have three upcoming international friendlies, playing Mauritania on Wednesday before facing Jordan on Friday, both games kicking off at 5.30pm (GMT).
Their final match during the ‘international break’, sees them take on Brazil in Lille on November 18, kick-off 7.30pm (GMT).
Meanwhile, Fusire is in the Zimbabwe squad for two ‘away’ friendlies, against Algeria on Thursday and then Qatar on November 17, both kicking off at 4.30pm (GMT).
Wednesday loanee Harry Amass is in the England under-19 squad for their upcoming Euro qualifiers in Lithuania.
The Young Lions will face Lithuania, Scotland and Latvia as they begin their bid to reach next summer’s finals in Wales.
All three matches will be played at the Raudondvaris Stadium and England kick-off against Lithuania on Wednesday (4pm GMT), face Latvia on November 15 (10am GMT) and finish against Scotland on November 18 (10am GMT), with the teams who finish in the top two of the group progressing to the next stage in March 2026.
Completing the international six, the Owls pair of striker Will Grainger and keeper Logan Stretch have been selected for the Wales under-19 squad for three matches.
The games are part of the preparations for the under-19 Euro finals being held in north Wales next summer and they face Japan, USA and Germany.
They take on Japan on Wednesday, (ko 7pm), at Central Park, Denbigh, followed by the USA on November 15 (2.30pm) at Wrexham before finishing against Germany on November 18 (11am), back at Denbigh.
