Goals from Leroy Lita, Danny Pugh and Michail Antonio saw Wednesday move another two places up the Championship table with a 3-1 victory over Brighton.
Lita gave us a great start with an early goal on his full debut and fellow new boy Pugh made it two direct from a free kick.
Brighton were reduced to 10 men with Ashley Barnes sent off after fouling Keiran Lee in the build-up to the free kick.
The visitors pulled a goal back early in the second half through Orlandi – but Antonio soon restored our two-goal advantage.
Dave Jones and Brighton coach Charlie Oatway were both sent to the stands after a touchline flare-up but it failed to spoil an excellent win which takes us above Bolton and Wolves.
