Wednesday looking for third successive win

Wednesday are targeting a second home win in four days to keep up our division one promotion chase when we take on Cambridge United tomorrow afternoon.

Victory at home to Port Vale on Thursday evening lifted us to joint second place alongside Ipswich while leaders Plymouth stretched their lead to seven points today after beating MK Dons 3-1.

We go into the Cambridge match looking for a third successive win and hoping to make it 13 league games unbeaten, while promotion rivals Ipswich are away to Lincoln.

On the injury front, we wait to see if Barry Bannan is fit to play after having to be substituted against Port Vale with what looked to be the recurrence of his recent hamstring problem.
