Wednesday and Millwall have been charged by the FA with failing to control their players during Tuesday evening’s Championship clash.
This follows the incident three minutes from time which resulted in Giles Coke and Millwall’s Shane Lowry being sent off and which sparked a fracas involving several players from both sides.
A statement on the FA’s official website says: “Both Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday have been charged by The FA for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.”
Both clubs have until 6pm on February 3 to respond to the charges.
