Wednesday aiming to extend impressive run of form at Lincoln

Wednesday will be looking to make it five wins in our last six league games when we travel to face Lincoln tomorrow lunchtime.

The recent excellent run sees us in third position, four points behind second-placed Ipswich after their 1-0 home win over Derby this evening. Leaders Plymouth, who are at Bristol Rovers tomorrow, sit a further point clear of us while there is a seven-point gap to the two sides immediately below Wednesday, Peterborough and Portsmouth.

Darren Moore is expected to revert to a back three at Lincoln, with a good possibility that Mark McGuinness will return to the starting line-up after we began with a defensive four against Cambridge last weekend. The manager also confirmed today that George Byers and Dominic Iorfa are both available for squad selection, Byers having second-half action as a sub at Cambridge.

Lincoln are currently in mid-table in division one but are unbeaten at home in the league this season and defeated Ipswich 1-0 at Portman Road last Saturday.
