Darren Moore was pleased to see his Wednesday side get back on the winning trail at Morecambe tonight following the recent derby defeat to Barnsley.
Speaking after the dominant 3-0 victory over the Shrimpers, Moore said: “For me it was always about getting the win and the points tonight. Why do I say that? To bounce back from the Barnsley game where we were under par and to get back to winning ways.
“We showed the character and the patience that you need sometimes to keep knocking at that door until it opens.
“We got our reward that the performance deserved and I’m really pleased for the players.”
