Darren Moore was full of praise for his Wednesday side after today’s narrow win over Derby … and then turned his attentions to the League One play-off semi final first leg at Peterborough on Friday evening.
Speaking after the 1-0 victory in front of a sellout 33,400 crowd, the Owls boss said: “The mindset and mentality of the players is good. There is a winning culture, every game we play matters and hopefully everyone saw that today.
“When Hillsborough is like this with a full house the atmosphere is just electric and we love being here. Credit to all the fans and I’m just pleased we delivered the three points today.”
Looking to the play-offs, he added: “We go into them with real momentum.
“We’ve broken all sorts of records this season which is pleasing. We’ve come through the game today unscathed injury-wise so that was a relief and now we go full tilt into the play-offs.”
