Carlos Carvalhal was quick to turn his attentions to Tuesday night at Bolton after yesterday’s defeat at Burnley.
Late goals from Matthew Taylor and Andre Gray sunk the Owls, the home side having taken a first-half lead through David Jones before Atdhe Nuhiu equalised with a thumping header.
Wednesday then looked the more likely side to go in front but we only had two efforts on target in the 90 minutes and were undone by Burnley’s late double.
Carvalhal said afterwards that he would have been disappointed to leave Turf Moor without all three points, such was his view of the performance.
However, he admitted Wednesday still need to improve at both ends of the pitch and to correct our defensive mistakes.
With the side still seeking a first league win since the opening day, Carvalhal added that it was good to have a quick opportunity to get back in action at Bolton on Tuesday evening.
