Marnick Vermijl has left Wednesday for Championship rivals Preston for an undisclosed fee.
Vermijl, 24, moved to Hillsborough in February of last year from Manchester United but spent last season on loan at Deepdale and leaves us after making just 12 appearances for the Owls.
