Under-18s clinch place in fifth round after stunning fightback

Wednesday’s under-18s came from two goals down to beat Leicester 3-2 in their FA Youth Cup fourth round tie at Hillsborough tonight.

After a strong start from the young Owls, we were hit by Leicester goals from Logan Briggs and Reece Evans before Cian Flannery pulled one back before the break.

Shortly after the restart we were back on level terms in spectacular fashion, Bailey Cadamarteri firing home from the edge of the box.

Ten minutes later the fightback was complete when Rio Shipston was fouled in the penalty box and the midfielder slotted home the winning third goal from the spot to earn a fifth round match against either Cambridge or Chelsea.
