Wednesday loanee striker Ike Ugbo played the first 70 minutes of Canada’s Concacaf Nations League promotion play-off against Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday evening.
Canada won 2-0, with Ugbo credited with the assist for their first goal, scored by Cyle Larin on the hour-mark.
Ugbo was then subbed 10 minutes later before Canada made certain of victory with a second goal in added time.

Zimbabwe found themselves 2-0 down early on, came back to draw 2-2 and then won a penalty shootout 6-5.
