Same again for Garry for City clash?

Garry Monk may well name an unchanged starting line-up as Wednesday take on another of the play-off chasers in the televised clash with Bristol City at Hillsborough on Sunday.

It’s the first of four fixtures in 11 days over the busy Christmas period – three of them at home – as we look to build on the impressive recent form which has taken us up to fifth place and back into the play-off positions in the Championship.

Bristol City sit two places and just one point behind us while we will be looking to make if four wins from the last five games.

Sam Hutchinson will serve the second match of his two-game suspension while Fernando Forestieri continues to be sidelined with the knee problem picked up at Charlton three weeks ago.

Kieran Lee is available for selection again, having missed last weekend’s 4-0 win at Forest following the birth of his newborn son, and Moses Odubajo could be back in the squad after his one-match ban.

Forestieri aside, Monk has no other injury issues and is unlikely to make any changes following the Forest victory.

That would mean another start up front for Jordan Rhodes, fresh from his hat-trick last weekend, while Julian Borner and Keiren Westwood are both expected to remain on the bench.

The game is a noon kick off on Sunday and is live on Sky.
