Carlos Carvalhal is hoping Sam Hutchinson will be ready to return for the Owls as we look to bounce back from a poor run at Brighton on Tuesday night.
Hutchinson has been ruled out since suffering a back injury at Birmingham last month but Carvalhal said after Saturday’s defeat to Rotherham that he is confident the midfielder will be fit to make the squad for a tough game against one of our fellow promotion chasers.
Reflecting on the loss to the Millers, Carvalhal said he was disappointed with our quality in the first half but felt Lucas Joao made a difference when he came on as a substitute after the break.
He added: “We are still in a good position and will react very fast for the next game.”
