Sad news over ex-Owl Petter Rudi

Former Wednesday midfielder Petter Rudi has been diagnosed with ALS.

Petter is now a scout at his first club, Molde FC in Norway, and they released the sad news today that he is suffering from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disease.

The Norwegian international midfielder moved to Wednesday in 1997 and played for us for three years in the Premier League, making 98 appearances and scoring 10 goals.

The London Owls send our thoughts and best wishes to Petter and his family at this time.
