Danny Rohl talked of the good and bad in Wednesday’s performance after the 2-1 home defeat to Sunderland.
The Owls boss said: “I saw a good performance, a team who invest, a team who pressed and created a lot of chances.”
He added that the goals conceded were too easy and said: “I also saw a team who destroyed with small situations all the hard work and this is hard at the moment.”
On the injury front, Rohl said that both Max Lowe and Callum Paterson will have scans after being forced off during the game.
And, despite all the pre-match injury and illness issues – coupled with the on-field setbacks for Lowe and Paterson – Rohl praised his team for the overall display against what he termed as a strong Sunderland side.
