Danny Rohl has further strengthened Wednesday’s strike force with the signing of former Manchester United youngster Charlie McNeill.
The 20-year-old forward left Old Trafford last month. He becomes our eighth summer signing and now links up with the Wednesday squad who are preparing for the new season at a training camp at St George’s Park.
McNeill worked his way through the academy levels at Old Trafford. He then moved to neighbours City before United paid a reported £750,000 to re-sign him and he continued to hit the goal trail at youth level.
He made his senior debut against Real Sociedad in September 2022 and had loan spells at Newport and Stevenage before being recalled to Old Trafford last January.
