Danny Rohl praised the fighting performance of his Wednesday side after our crucial 2-0 win over Birmingham at Hillsborough on Friday night.
Two goals from Ike Ugbo – his first for the club – saw us bounce back from four Championship games without a win. The victory leaves us five points from safety before our relegation rivals all play this afternoon and manager Rohl said: “It was a fantastic job by my boys. We showed the fight we needed and now we need to do that for 15 more games.
“We did the basics right and had really good moments with the ball.
“Now it is about going forward, there are 15 games left and there is still a long way to go.”
*Danny Rohl has also confirmed that Callum Paterson faces a lengthy lay-off after suffering a knee injury. He has undergone surgery and is unlikely to be back in action until April.
