Rhodes fit again … more treatment for Lees

Jordan Rhodes has recovered from illness and is expected to be back in the squad to face promotion-chasing Aston Villa at Hillsborough on Saturday.

Rhodes has missed the last two games after falling ill on the way to last weekend’s FA Cup tie with Swansea but Jos Luhukay says he is now back in training and ready for consideration for the Villa clash.

However, Tom Lees has suffered some reaction to his 90 minutes for the under-23s earlier this week and is receiving further treatment so is definitely ruled out.

Meanwhile, young defender Jordan Thorniley is now resting after the facial injury sustained at Millwall thankfully turned out to be less serious than at first feared.

Luhukay said he hopes Thorniley could be back in training within a fortnight.
