Daniel Pudil could be back in the squad for Saturday’s Hillsborough clash with in-form Norwich.
Pudil suffered a facial injury in last month’s defeat at QPR and was then ruled out of the 3-1 loss at Birmingham.
If fit, then Pudil may well be given a starting place in the defence as we look to end a run of three successive Championship defeats, which has seen Wednesday slip to 16th place.
In contrast, Norwich come to S6 in fourth position after three league wins in a row and with seven victories in their last nine Championship matches.
Jordan Rhodes, on a season-long loan to the Canaries from Wednesday, is unable to play as part of the agreement between the two clubs.
With this being the last home game before Remembrance Sunday on November 11, there will be a minute’s silence prior to kick off to pay respects to members of the armed forces past and present, and also for all those affected by the tragic helicopter crash in Leicester last weekend.
