Liam Palmer’s full international debut for Scotland ended in disappointment as they lost their Euro qualifier 3-0 in Kazakhstan on Thursday.
Palmer played the full 90 minutes but the heavy defeat increases pressure on Scotland boss Alex McLeish after a run of poor results.
Meanwhile, Atdhe Nuhiu was also in international action on Thursday, coming on as a late sub for Kosovo. He played the last nine minutes of their 2-2 friendly draw at home to Denmark and earnt a last-minute booking.
