Wednesday wait for fitness updates on Sam Hutchinson, Jack Hunt and Barry Bannan ahead of Monday’s trip to Sunderland.
Hutchinson was subbed at half-time against Preston on Saturday after seemingly suffering a leg injury during the first half, while Barry Bannan lasted 78 minutes in his first team comeback game before going off with what appeared to be cramp.
Added to this, Jack Hunt was also replaced 16 minutes from time, having picked up what is thought to be a knee problem after helping to prevent a Preston goal in the second half.
Jos Luhukay said he could not give updates on the injuries immediately after the game but would await further checks before deciding on the squad for the trip to the Stadium of Light against a Sunderland side who boosted their survival hopes with a 4-1 win at Derby on Saturday evening.
