However, Wednesday bounced back to regain the lead on 56 minutes through birthday boy Sam Hutchinson’s powerful header before the game took another twist 10 minutes from time when Keiren Westwood was red carded for a foul on Mo Barrow.
The 10 men battled to hold onto the lead and, deep into seven minutes of injury time, Lucas Joao ensured the points were going back to S6 when he swivelled on the edge of the box and sent a low shot into the corner of the net.
