Chris O’Grady’s cracking 73rd minute header earnt Wednesday a deserved derby win over Sheff U on Sunday.
The striker’s goal crowned a battling second-half display from the Owls and ended the run of three successive league defeats in style.
Sheff U came closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half with a free kick that came back off the underside of the bar but Wednesday got stronger as the game went on and O’Grady’s header was just reward for the Owls.
