Wednesday will field a much-changed side for Tuesday night’s EFL Cup first round tie at Cambridge.
With the game coming only 48 hours after the win over Villa, Carlos Carvalhal will rest several of the first team for the trip to face the division two side.
That is likely to mean starting places for the likes of Jose Semedo, Liam Palmer, Jeremy Helan, Lucas Joao and, possibly, George Hirst.
