Wednesday’s injury problems mounted with both Liam Palmer and Will Keane forced off during the first half against Fulham.
Palmer was stretchered off on 29 minutes and Keane limped off three minutes before the interval.
Stuart Gray said both were ankle problems caused by getting studs caught in the pitch – rather than impact injuries.
He added that it was too early to analyse the extent of the injuries but hinted that with a mounting injury list, he might need to consider calling back players from loan spells.
