Gary Megson says he has some issues to sort out after Wednesday threw away another three points, allowing struggling Walsall to score twice in injury time on Boxing Day in a 2-1 defeat.
Ryan Lowe gave us the lead on the hour with a cracking header from Chris Lines’ great run and cross.
However, Claude Gnapka’s 20-yarder took a huge deflection to equalise at the start of five added minutes and then, with a minute remaining, Miguel Liera misjudged a cross into the box and Emmanuele Smith caught Reda Johnson napping at the far post to fire home.
Megson said afterwards: “There are two or three individual issues that are starting to have an impact on us as a football team and they need sorting out quickly.”
He also hinted that he will act swiftly to secure the signing of keeper Stephen Bywater from Derby.
