Stevie May has been left out of Gordon Strachan’s Scotland squad for the games with the Republic of Ireland and Qatar next month.
May has featured in recent squads but has been replaced by Celtic’s Leigh Griffiths after his disappointing season at Hillsborough.
Also included in the Scottish set-up is former Owls defender Mark Reynolds. He failed to establish himself at Hillsborough after being signed by Alan Irvine for £100,000 from Motherwell in January 2011 and made just 10 appearances before going out on loan to Aberdeen and then signing permanently for the Pittodrie club.
Scotland face Qatar in a friendly at Easter Road on June 5 and then travel to Dublin to play the Republic in a crucial Euro 2016 qualifier on June 13.
