Gary Madine’s loan spell with Coventry City has been extended until the end of the month.
The extension means Madine will have up to three more games at the Ricoh but he will then have reached the 93-day limit for emergency loans. City manager Steven Pressley has made it clear that he would be keen to sign the player on a permanent basis if Wednesday are happy to allow him to leave.
Madine has scored three goals in 10 appearances for the Sky Blues but Wednesday have retained a 24-hour recall option on the player as part of the loan agreement.
