Neil Lennon has criticised Wednesday after the Mark Davies transfer saga ended with the midfielder’s proposed move to S6 seemingly finally falling through.
The transfer looked to be back on early in the week but Davies has now returned to Bolton and could figure against Nottingham Forest tomorrow.
Reports say that Wednesday had doubts over the fitness of the player while Lennon told the Bolton News: “From our point of view we were told that the move was called off on medical grounds – but he never had a medical.
“We lost him for two games. It dragged on and on and then Sheffield Wednesday pulled out. We’re not very happy about it at all.”
