Caolan Lavery was an unused substitute for Northern Ireland in their 1-1 friendly draw with Qatar at Crewe yesterday.
The young Wednesday striker failed to get a runout but will travel with the squad to Dublin for a behind-closed-doors match against the Republic of Ireland on Thursday, ahead of the team’s vital Euro qualifier with Romania at Windsor Park later this month.
