Chris Kirkland and Jose Semedo will have talks over possible new deals to keep them at Hillsborough.
Kirkland, the London Owls Player of the Year, and the popular Semedo are both out of contract in the summer but Wednesday are hoping they can agree new terms with the two experienced players.
Central defenders, Glenn Loovens and Oguchi Onyewu, signed short-term deals during last season and Wednesday will be having talks with their representatives over potential extensions. However, Onyewu may want to keep his options open until after the World Cup as he is hoping to be in the United States squad in Brazil.
