Wednesday are free from injury problems for Saturday’s derby clash with Rotherham at Hillsborough.
With keeper Joe Wildsmith having returned to training after his back injury, Carlos Carvalhal has a full squad to choose from – minus the suspended Fernando Forestieri, following his two yellow cards at Hull.
Carvalhal is likely to choose between Atdhe Nuhiu and Lucas Joao to replace Forestieri in attack and has to decide whether to recall full backs Jack Hunt and Daniel Pudil, as they were both rested for the game at the KC Stadium.
Sam Hutchinson has recovered from the back problem which forced him off at Hull and could feature while Ross Wallace will be looking for a recall to the starting line-up after dropping to the bench for last Friday’s game.
We go into the match looking for victory for the first time in four games to keep our play-off push on track while Rotherham, now under Neil Warnock, need points as they battle to stay in the Championship.
Ex-Owls Richard Wood and Joe Mattock could figure after playing in the Millers win over Brentford last weekend.
Former Wednesday defender Lewis Buxton did not feature in Rotherham games at the start of the year as that would have triggered a clause in his deal, giving him an extra year at the club.
The Millers refused to play him to avoid that happening and Buxton then waived his extra year agreement.
