George Hirst has been named in the England under-18 squad for their forthcoming Qatar training camp.
They fly out on March 19 for a ten-day stay, which will see them play three fixtures – against Saudi Arabia on March 22 and then two matches against Qatar, on March 24 and 27. All three games are being played at The Aspire Complex, Doha.
Meanwhile, central defender Connor O’Grady has also won an international call-up, being selected in the Republic of Ireland under-21 squad to take on Kosovo in the UEFA Under-21 Championship Qualifying Round Group 5 fixture at Shamrock Rovers’ ground on March 25.
