Stuart Gray will make changes tomorrow as Wednesday bid to reach the last eight of the FA Cup for the first time since 1997.
Jose Semedo will miss the fifth round tie against Charlton, his former club, after breaking his fibula against Wigan on Tuesday night but Giles Coke could return to the midfield for the Hillsborough clash after serving his three-match ban.
Gray also hopes to have Glenn Loovens fit for consideration in the middle of the defence after his recent lay-off and he has to decide whether to stick with Chris Kirkland in goal or replace him with Damian Martinez, who has played in the two rounds of the cup so far.
And, to add to Gray’s selection options, his three loanee signings this week – Gary Gardner, Leon Best and Sam Hutchinson – are all eligible to play.
Our last quarter final tie was a 2-0 home defeat to Wimbledon in front of a 25,000 crowd in March 1997.
