Gray rues errors at both ends of pitch

Stuart Gray reflected on poor defending and a failure to punish Cardiff at the other end of the pitch after this afternoon’s 2-1 defeat.

Talking about the goals conceded, Gray said: “We didn’t get a head on the first one and had chances to clear before Cardiff got the second.”

He added: “We dominated possession but our decision making in the final third let us down.

“We should have got something out of the game and should have got the first goal.”

Defender Tom Lees missed the game after suffering a hamstring injury at Manchester City in midweek.
