Stuart Gray has moved to strengthen Wednesday’s attacking options by signing former Real Madrid winger Royston Drenthe on loan from Reading.
Drenthe joins us on transfer deadline day until the end of the year and it’s no surprise that Gray has gone for a wideman after highlighting this as an area for strengthening in recent weeks.
The 27-year-old went to Real for £14m from Feyenoord in 2007 for €14m and played 65 games for them before loan spells with Spanish club Hercules and Everton, followed by a move to Russian outfit Alania Vladikavkaz in February 2013 and then on to Reading.
