Garry Monk says his work in the upcoming January transfer window is likely to be in the loan market.
The Owls boss was full of praise today for the performances, to date, of the squad he inherited in September, adding: “I don’t expect a lot of incomings or outgoings and that will be dictated by what we can do. Those discussions are going on right now and moving on but we have not finalised anything at this time.
“We have to work within certain restraints, like every club does. I don’t expect to be doing a massive amount of business and what we are going to have to do is work hard and try to be diligent
“The market we are looking at is probably going to have to be loans or that type of situation.”
