Fusire on bench as Salah hits late winner

Sean Fusire was an unused substitute for Zimbabwe as they kicked off their African Cup of Nations journey with a last-gasp 2-1 defeat to Egypt in Morocco this evening.

The Wednesday midfielder saw his side take a first-half lead in their Group B opener but Egypt equalised midway through the second period.

Then Mo Salah ended hopes of a big result for Zimbabwe when the Liverpool man netted an added-time winner.

Meanwhile, Yan Valery and his Tunisian team-mates begin their AFCON challenge tomorrow evening with a Group C match against Uganda.
