Wednesday will give fitness tests to Barry Bannan, Josh Windass and Kadeem Harris ahead of the Boxing Day trip to Blackburn.
The trio all have minor injuries, Bannan limping off in the closing minutes against Coventry on Saturday with a thigh problem.
Tony Pulis said today: “They are all muscular injuries so you have to be a little bit careful. Two of the lads have not trained and put their boots on and gone out on the grass. Everything has been rehabilitation work.
“They will all want to play. I know that for a fact.
“I will talk to the medical side and make a decision. With the games that we have got, it is whether we start or bring them on. What we don’t want to do is play three players and lose them after 20 minutes and then they are out for four or five weeks.”
Julian Borner and Massimo Luongo are still sidelined while Moses Odubajo has served his one-match ban.
We go into the game having chalked up a first win under Pulis in our last outing against Coventry, taking us to within four points of safety.
