Matt Hamshaw has some late decisions to make on his squad selection to face Blackpool at Hillsborough on Sunday.
The interim head coach says there will be a number of fitness tests ahead of the game, including defenders Liam Cooper, Di’Shon Bernard and Ricardo Santos all being assessed.
Jamal Lowe will definitely be missing as he serves the last game of his three-match ban.
After the midweek home draw with Cambridge and today’s League One results, we remain in ninth place on 19 points while Blackpool are just one place above the relegation zone.
During the club’s pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, Hamshaw said of the injury situation: “The fortunate thing is we’ve got an extra 24 hours compared to what we normally would have. We trained on Friday, we’ll train on Saturday and then let’s see.”
Former loanee keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell is likely to be in goal for the Tangerines while another ex-Owl loanee, Jerry Yates, may well be in their squad.
The match has also been designated as our official Remembrance Day fixture, commemorating the contribution of British military and civilian service people in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
Ahead of kick off, there will be a short period of silence before a rendition of the Last Post. Supporters in the North Stand will be asked to take part in a mosaic display, holding up cards during the pre-match tribute to create a poppy design.
