Fernando Forestieri has been named the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for October in the Sky Bet Championship.
Forestieri has been a key figure in our 10-match unbeaten run, scoring important goals to help our climb up the table during the month, and it completes a notable double as Ross Wallace picked up the same award in September.
Derby’s Chris Martin and Brentford’s Alan Judge were also on the three-man final shortlist, and the initial nominations included Andre Gray, Benik Afobe, Demarai Gray, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Jordan Rhodes, Nick Blackman and Tom Ince.
