Portuguese defender Tiago Pinto could be the next man through the Hillsborough welcome door.
The 27-year-old left back, who previously played for Sporting CP and Braga, has been with Primeira League side, Rio Ave, since 2010 but has spent loan spells at Deportivo and Racing Santander during that time.
He is also the son of former Portugal international Joao Pinto, who was one of the country’s leading players in the nineties and early 2000s, and it is reported that Tiago is waiting to undergo a medical at S6.
