Tomorrow’s home match against Portsmouth will serve as the club’s annual tribute to those lost from the Wednesday family during the last year.

The fixture is the first league game of 2026 at Hillsborough and supporters have been invited to send in photos for inclusion on the big screen as part of the tribute.

There will be a period of applause prior to the 3pm kick off, during which time those images will be displayed on the screen. The tribute will include SWFC players Brian Usher, George Davies and Alan Finney, our former owner Milan Mandaric and manager Terry Yorath, who passed away earlier this month.

A video of the tribute will also be shared across the club’s official online platforms for those unable to attend the game.
