Carlos Carvalhal has hinted that there could be new faces at Hillsborough before the transfer window closes on September 1.
Wednesday continue to be linked with Norwich striker Gary Hooper, 27, possibly in a loan deal, and when talking of transfer activity, Carvalhal said: “Let’s see what happens in the coming days but I do not want to talk about names at this time.”
Central defender Michael Turner, 31, a team-mate of Hooper’s at Carrow Road, is said to be another interesting Wednesday and when asked if he felt positive about bringing in players ahead of the window closing, Carvalhal added: “I think so.”
