Carlos Carvalhal praised his players’ attitude despite having to settle for a point at lowly Bristol City.
After seeing his side twice lose the lead against a City team that had lost eight games in a row, Carvalhal said: “I am happy with my players, we had to fight to achieve the second goal and after this I didn’t think we would not win because we were in control of the game.
“Their second goal was lucky, it’s something that happens in football. What can you do about something like that?
“We went for the win and fought to the end again, but we have achieved one point. I am not happy about the score but I am happy with my players’ attitude.”
